ABOUT THE CENTER

Launched in March 2022, Space Central is building the future of collaborative membership-based office and events space by focusing on multiple lines of business, including conventions and meetings, sports and entertainment, special events, networking galas and more.

We’re driven by the desire to reinvigorate economically damaged downtown city cores by bringing together freedom-minded business owners, entrepreneurs, clients, and stellar events all under one roof in centrally-located underutilized office space facilities.

Public and Private grantors, donors and sponsors will augment the user-supported subscription-based membership model that is integral to our ongoing funding success strategy.

History of the Space

Site 1 - CIBN Location (CIBN)

This site is now the current studio location of Space Central.

Space Central first took up occupancy in the Beltline on March 1, 2022 to launch this concept and then transitioned its two offices over to a new location 2 blocks away on June 1, 2022 during the ongoing renovations of the 3rd floor. On September 1, 2022, we returned to a new larger office down the hall from our original location to relaunch the program in a phased-up approach. Then, after 12 months of deceitful non-cooperation from the landlord over promised renovations that were never completed, the landlord rented our offices right out from under us and several other tenants on the same floor with absolutely no notice in September 2023.

Not to be discouraged from our mission, we searched several new possible locations and we have identified a wonderful new studio space in the CIBN | CBN (Canadian Independent Business Network | Canadian Business Network) office space to house both the shared coworking Space Central membership program and the Video-on-Demand Television Studio concept. We will be working in collaboration with them and Exposure Video to offer full service studio production capabilities to the CIBN | CBN membership base and to our own, all withing one fantastic shared studio environment.

We are actively seeking to enroll the first 200 members and secure corporate sponsorships and private donations for the purposes stated in this website.

We also have our eyes on additional buildings in the city that would also serve our expansion purposes. Stay tuned for updates.
